Pentagon Needs $80B for Iran War

WashingtonIran war costs have reached $29 billion, the US Defense Department said, as it prepares to ask Congress for $80 billion more.

The Pentagon warned it risks running out of operating funds within months.

Some lawmakers will not approve the supplemental without Congress formally authorising the war, which it has not done.
