EPA Model Infers Chemical Dose From Body

WashingtonMachine learning infers indoor chemical exposure from urine metabolites, the US Environmental Protection Agency said.

The agency’s ExpoCast model skips slow toxicology testing for thousands of unstudied compounds.

The models predicted air concentrations accurately (R=0.98) but cross-pathway validation remained moderate (R=0.51), the study said.
