TehranIran says a UN resolution’s mandate expired months ago.
Ambassador Saeed Iravani told the Security Council that Resolution 2231, which framed the 2015 nuclear deal, ended on October 18, 2025, voiding further reports or sanctions.
The Council has not responded; the dispute could resurface at its next non-proliferation session.
