PlayStation Ends Game Discs

TokyoPlayStation discs end in January 2028.

Sony will sell only digital licenses for new games, meaning buyers can no longer resell, lend or keep a copy once access is revoked.

Loyalists already angry over subscription price hikes now face a fully licensed, not owned, game library.
