Papuan Rebels Kill American Pilot

JayapuraIndonesia recovered an American pilot’s body.

The West Papua National Liberation Army killed him; the group has a history of targeting aircraft serving Indonesia’s remote Papuan highlands.

Those highland communities remain reachable only by the same air routes the group has struck before.
