Mali Attacks Hit Five Towns

BamakoFighters struck Aguelhok, Anefis, Gao, Sevare and Kenieroba at once.

Government troops and Russian fighters hold Anefis and Aguelhok, the last Mali army positions in Kidal region after April’s losses to Tuareg and al-Qaeda-linked forces.

The Azawad Liberation Front says it has taken positions in Anefis; fighting for the town continues.
