Kashmir Strike Turns Violent

MuzaffarabadPolice and protesters clashed as a shutdown strike hit Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

Around a dozen people were hurt in Dadyal; authorities have jailed 147 Joint Awami Action Committee activists since banning the group June 5.

Committee leader Imtiaz Aslam gave the government until July 8 to meet its demands.
