FDA Approves Kidney Drug Trutakna

BrisbaneThe Food and Drug Administration approved Trutakna for a kidney disease.

IgA nephropathy is caused by immune antibodies building up in the kidneys, causing progressive function loss that can require dialysis.

Vera Therapeutics chief executive Marshall Fordyce said the company is now moving to bring Trutakna to patients.
