Patreon Cuts Fifth of Staff

CEO Jack Conte said the company is flattening its structure and adapting to how AI is transforming the tech industry, though he denied AI replaces staff creativity.

Laid-off workers keep pay through an August 20 vesting date, plus 16 weeks of severance.
