Iran, Oman Near Hormuz Deal

TehranA Hormuz shipping route deal is nearly done.

Oman and Iran are negotiating a new maritime route through the strait, separate from existing shipping corridors.

Iran says the strait’s shipping status will not return to prewar terms once talks conclude.
