Gaza CityDr Hussam Abu Safiya’s ribs were fractured after he appealed his detention.
The Kamal Adwan Hospital director has been held without charge since December 2024.
Guards beat him with batons after he filed an Israel Supreme Court challenge in April, his lawyer said.
His family fears he could die in custody.
