Kwara Captives Return, Orphaned

Kaiama163 of 176 people abducted from Woro in February have returned.

Eleven children were born in captivity and six died, community leader Yakub Jaja said.

Armed groups held villagers six months in territory the state does not patrol, negotiating release, not rescue.

The community wants rehabilitation funding, but Nigeria’s government approved only a Kaiama base.
