Bungalow Upkeep Outspends Schools

New Delhi₹92 crore maintains ministers’ bungalows yearly, campaign group Citizens for Justice and Peace says.

Rural schools nearby lack drinking water and toilets while that upkeep line stays untouched.

The same ministries that occupy the bungalows also set the budget that leaves those schools short.

The Aam Aadmi Party’s “School Thik Karo” campaign is demanding social audits of school facilities.
