Commission Curbs Assembly Secrecy

IslamabadPakistan’s Information Commission voided an unexplained secrecy order.

The ruling requires the speaker to write reasons whenever assembly records are classified, making secrecy reviewable.

The commission gave the secretariat 10 days to release the disputed employee records.
