Iran Weighs Treaty Exit

TehranSpokesman Abbas Goudarzi called treaty exit “readily attainable.”

A treaty exit would end outside monitoring of Iran’s enrichment before any weapon exists.

The treaty’s Article X allows withdrawal after three months’ notice, a path only North Korea has used, in 2003.

Lawmakers have already signed a plan urging Iran’s parliament to leave the treaty.
