UNN Sued Over Obi Records

AbujaA Labour Party official sued the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, over Peter Obi’s academic records.

At stake is whether Nigeria’s disclosure law binds public universities at all.

The 2011 transparency law requires a response within 7 days, but courts disagree on whether it applies to universities.

The case has not yet been assigned to a judge.
