Latvia Eyes Barracuda Missiles

RigaLatvia moves to buy Anduril’s Barracuda long-range cruise missiles.

Latvia would become the first Baltic state to field a strike weapon in this category.

Its likely pick, the surface-launched SLB-500M, reaches over 500 nautical miles, against about 186 miles for the ATACMS it ordered.

President Edgars Rinkēvičs’s statement gives no variant, quantity, delivery date or price.

Latvia’s ATACMS missiles are due to enter service in 2027.
