South AfricaBusinessman Sibanyoni demanded a 30% Putco stake from the president.
The Madlanga Commission was shown the footage Wednesday, and arsonists burned 51 Putco buses in 2025.
He said the 30% was gazetted for the area’s people, and pressed Putco to lift its per-bus payment from R50,000 to about R90,000.
Sibanyoni denied any role in the arson and offered no evidence for his claim Putco burned its own buses.
Sibanyoni, Oupa Bafana Sindane and two others face extortion and money laundering charges in Kwaggafontein.
