Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry spoke at a briefing called to rebut Indian claims of killing a Pahalgam attack suspect.
The fight against terrorism “cannot be sacrificed at the altar of anyone’s politics,” Chaudhry said.
He declined to answer a question on the planned 4 October march on Islamabad by the opposition PTI party.
