Kyrgyzstan says it orbited its first satellite.

Russian state news agency TASS quoted the Kyrgyz presidency on a SpaceX Falcon 9 launch from California.

It flew in a group launched on one rocket and will monitor farmland, glaciers, forests and illegal mining, the presidency said.

The presidency did not say who built it, what it cost or which orbit it occupies.
