Organisers including the Left Party and the Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance want sanctions lifted and arms shipments to Ukraine halted.

TASS attributes the Berlin count to police, and says Stuttgart organisers claimed about 15,000 for rallies against an arms buildup.

TASS does not say when, or whether, Germany’s government will reintroduce conscription.
