Putin Carries Iran’s Message

MoscowKremlin says Putin gave Trump Iran’s war-ending position, Iran’s state-run Mehr reported.

Mehr says diplomacy to end the seven-month war has stalled since summer.

Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told RIA Novosti Putin acted in coordination with Iran’s president, days after offering to mediate in Turkmenistan.

The Kremlin withheld Trump’s response, and no US confirmation of the exchange has appeared.
