WashingtonFederal agents searched Rep. Ilhan Omar’s home Monday morning.
The Justice Department has not said whether Omar is a target or what it alleges.
Homeland Security Investigations agents executed a warrant a court authorised, the department said, in an ongoing criminal investigation.
“Regardless if they’re a congressman or not, no one’s above the law,” border czar Tom Homan said last month.
Omar’s spokesperson has not commented, and prosecutors have not said whether charges will follow.
