TehranIran threatened to reconsider relations with Britain, Iranian state news agency Mehr reported.
Assistant foreign minister Alireza Yousefi summoned ambassador Hugo Shorter and demanded evidence for Britain’s allegations over Royal Air Force Fairford, Mehr said.
Yousefi called the allegations baseless and said Britain bears responsibility for joining US and Israeli attacks on Iran.
Shorter said he would convey Iran’s position to London, Mehr said.
How each outlet framed it
- Mehr News Agency leans critical
- frames the summons as a counter-accusation, demanding the UK produce evidence on RAF Fairford and tying it to Britain's role in the US-Israeli strikes
