Iran no longer needs gasoline imports, Iranian state agency Mehr reported.

President Masoud Pezeshkian says Iran once spent $12 billion importing gasoline.

He credited consumption management under the blockade and urged car-free Tuesdays and teleworking for government staff.

Pezeshkian pledged to pay fuel-price adjustment revenue back to citizens but did not say when.
