Latvia’s crypto holders can settle past tax bills for 10% of assets.

Adviser Didzis Dejus says the Finance Ministry agreed to crypto tax payments and expects them next year.

Parliament passed the law on 15 October: crypto is taxed when withdrawals exceed deposits, not on each trade.

Crypto tax payments still need a payment provider, and Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs still needs coalition partners.

Declarations run 1 April to 31 May 2027, with tax due 23 July.
