Iraq will expel a separatist group, Iran’s state-run Mehr News Agency reported.

Members would be evicted from the Kurdistan Region or handed over to Iran.

Iran’s ambassador Mohammad Kazem Al-e-Sadeq said the deal came in a security meeting attended by Iraqi national security adviser Qasim al-Aboudi.

The report carries no confirmation from Baghdad or Erbil and does not name the group.

The report gives no date for the expulsions or handovers.
