KarakGunmen killed 8 and wounded 40 at a funeral.
Christians are 2% to 3% of Jordan’s population, and attacks on them are rare.
Three gunmen left a vehicle and fired for minutes at 150 to 200 mourners outside the Greek Orthodox church, a witness said.
“A massacre, a massacre in every sense of the word,” said Tarek Ammarin, whose relative was wounded.
The gunmen remain at large, and no group has claimed the attack.
