Etim EkpoPetroleum minister Ekperikpe Ekpo promised a total ruling-party sweep in Akwa Ibom.
A serving federal minister made the pledge ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 elections.
He spoke at an All Progressives Congress rally and did not say how federal, state and local governments would combine their power.
“We will bring federal might and join with state might and join with local government might,” Ekpo told the crowd.
Spokesperson Louis Ibah had not explained the remarks by Saturday, despite a message, a reminder and a call.
