Quake Kills 16 in Xizang

BaqenA 7.0 quake killed 16, Iran’s state-affiliated Mehr News Agency reported.

Local authorities counted 65 injured, and rescuers are still searching for the missing.

The quake struck Baqen County in Nagqu, southwest China, at 10:33 p.m. Thursday, at high altitude and in low temperatures.
