Both are affiliated with Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, and their lawyer says they lack consular access.
The foreign ministry told the Lahore High Court it passed the case to its mission and has no reply from the UAE.
Justice Tariq Mahmood Bajwa called that unsatisfactory and summoned the responsible officer to appear at the next hearing.
