Provisional results show the congress’s wards falling from 87 to 44 in Johannesburg, 78 to 26 in Ekurhuleni, 70 to 29 in Tshwane.
Chairperson Michael Beaumont says 54 wards, 3 more than the official data recorded at 1pm Friday.
Counting continues, and ActionSA is on track for second in Tshwane, third in Johannesburg and Ekurhuleni.
