Israelis Drafted US Aid Restructuring Bill

WashingtonUS aid to Israel tops $300B since its founding, the Council on Foreign Relations estimates.

Rep. Marlin Stutzman introduced a resolution to convert the $38B military aid deal into trade after 2028, a proposal Israeli contacts originated, he said.

The memorandum expires in 2028; Netanyahu said in January Israel should reduce dependence on US military aid.
