Gulf States Design Security With Iran

DohaGulf states are designing a security architecture that includes Iran.

Qatar’s premier told the Financial Times that any Hormuz management model must include Iran and Oman — moving beyond the post-1990 framework anchored on US guarantees.

Qatar will not normalize energy operations until Hormuz is secured, the premier said.
