China, Russia Fly 11th Pacific Patrol

Sea of Japan10 aircraft entered South Korea’s air defense identification zone Friday.

China and Russia conducted their 11th Pacific joint patrol; none of the aircraft crossed into sovereign airspace, Seoul’s Joint Chiefs confirmed.

Both governments offered no explanation for the patrol’s frequency or timing.
