LNG Tanker Risks Explosion

MuscatNo LNG carrier has ever exploded at sea.

The Qatar-flagged Al Rekayyat caught fire after an attack in the Strait of Hormuz, which carries about a fifth of global LNG shipments.

An industry source said the tanker should stay stable unless it faces renewed attack.
