Japan Lands Reusable Rocket

NoshiroA 10-metre hop lasted 40 seconds and landed intact.

JAXA’s prototype is Japan’s first successful reusable-rocket test, chasing the cost-cutting reusability that SpaceX pioneered for launch vehicles.

The agency is still reviewing flight data to fully assess the test before scaling toward orbital reuse.
