US Slaps Brazil With Tariffs

BrasíliaWashington triggers a 25% wall on July 22.

The tariff follows a year-long Section 301 probe into Brazil’s Pix payments system and deforestation; coffee, beef and aircraft parts are exempted, the trade office said.

A separate forced-labor probe due July 24 could push the total tariff to 37.5%.
