Romania Downs Airspace Drone

BuzauAn F-16 destroyed the drone over uninhabited terrain.

Romania shares a 650-km border with Ukraine and has downed several Russian drones since 2022, one injuring two people in May.

Investigators have not named the drone’s origin or operator.
