China Shuts Ports Pre-Landfall

NahaChina closed major ports a full day before Typhoon Dolphin’s expected landfall.

Dolphin already injured six people and cut power to 50,000 buildings in Japan’s Okinawa.

Zhejiang halted port operations and Shanghai’s Yangshan port cleared its vessels on forecast data alone.

Landfall near Zhoushan is expected late Sunday into Monday.
