AstanaA hacker claims 15 million Kazakhstanis’ records, three-quarters of the country.

A national ID number cannot be reissued, so any breach of it becomes a permanent harm.

The claimed data comes from eGov, Kazakhstan’s single portal joining identity, property, tax and health records.

Authorities say they are investigating; no independent verification of the claim has surfaced yet.
