WashingtonAmericans use AI daily but fear it most.

The US is one of just three countries where AI worry outweighs optimism, Gallup found.

Gallup’s 37-country survey found trust and positive feelings toward AI typically rise with daily use everywhere except in wealthy Western nations.

“The biggest unanswered question is causality,” said Pablo Diego-Rosell, a Gallup senior scientist.

Gallup plans to expand the survey to 140 countries, including more of the Global South.
