Afridi Vows Islamabad March

PeshawarPlainclothes men abducted a provincial minister, Sohail Afridi alleges.

Afridi says all routes into and out of the province close before the 27 September march.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf governs the province, while Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi warned the party against marching and promised a firm federal response.

“We will stage a peaceful protest because we are not being heard anywhere,” said Afridi, the chief minister.

Pakistan’s capital and Rawalpindi Division are preparing for the 27 September march.
