Kashmir Assembly Erupts Over Statehood

Abdullah says India’s government promised delimitation, then elections, then statehood, and only the first two happened.

“We will not allow discussion on the issue of autonomy in the House,” said BJP legislator R S Pathania.

The Speaker scheduled debate on the resolution for Monday.
