US Forces Exit Iraq

BaghdadUS forces are leaving Iraq after 23 years.

It ends a US military presence that began with the 2003 invasion.

Iraqi Airways just resumed Iran flights under a US sanctions exemption, even as Washington presses Tehran over the Hormuz dispute.

The US, meanwhile, is due to respond by Tuesday to Iran’s proposal on the Strait of Hormuz.
