The World Bank’s private-sector arm committed $50 million to guarantor InfraCredit.

InfraCredit has enabled over 600 billion naira in local financing across 28 projects since 2017.

The 10-year subordinated debt ranks behind other creditors, widening the capital behind guaranteed bonds that 20 of Nigeria’s 25 pension fund administrators already buy.

The statement sets no date for either $25 million tranche.
