Putin Renews Uranium Offer

MoscowRussian state news agency TASS reported President Vladimir Putin says Moscow’s offer to take Iran’s uranium stands.

Enriched uranium is central to the dispute between the US and Iran.

The offer would move some of Iran’s enriched uranium onto Russian soil, TASS reported.

“Everyone initially agreed,” Russia’s president told the Valdai forum, in TASS’s account, naming no one.

Putin did not say who walked away, and TASS carries no response from Tehran or Washington.
