TehranRussian state agency TASS reported Iran’s proposed Hormuz ship ban.
Every other state’s vessels would need a permit from the armed forces General Staff.
Parliament security committee spokesman Hassan Ghashghavi told Tasnim the bill bars ships of Israel, hostile states and any carrying military cargo.
The Majlis has not voted on the bill, and the Guardian Council must review it afterwards.
