Army Warns Against Agitation

RawalpindiThe army warned it will meet agitation with force.

Pakistan’s Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Asim Munir, presided over the 277th Corps Commanders’ Conference.

Inter-Services Public Relations said the commanders resolved to apply force and rule of law to any May 9-like situation, on any pretext, without hesitation or discrimination.

The statement names no party, and no political group had responded in the report.
