2 million barrels of Iraqi crude crossed Hormuz on a state tanker.

Hormuz traffic ran 44% below normal as of 27 September, at 3.1 ships a day.

The Oil Tanker Company’s director general called it the company’s first such operation in decades, aboard a very large crude carrier.

The announcement names no destination and no insurer.
